Bicycle Doctor Case Study
Myself, Jamie, at the age of 22 setup The Bicycle Doctor in November 2001 after realising the need for a quality bike shop in the area. It was also my dream to own and run a bicycle shop.
I was announced the winner of The Royal Bank of Scotland and the Princes Trust business of the year for both Wales and the UK in 2002. Since then the business has steadily grown and is the leading cycle store in Wales.
In 2008 we felt the need for an ecommerce site to expand our business and offer our products to an increased audience.
Having only been trading online for a couple of months we have seen an increase almost immediately in sales. We have also seen an increase in people walking through the shop floor having seen the website and our products.
