Tell us a little about yourself/your business.
Just4Leather evolved from a business started some 4 years ago selling quality leather products to High Street stores in bulk, direct sales at Country Shows and then online.
There are three partners all adding value to the business with their own unique brand of professionalism. Debbie has over 28 years of IT/internet experience, Kartik with 25 years experience of procurement/logistic and sales both to small businesses and large high street stores and Dale ( Debbie’s husband) with 35 years of marketing/sales and consultancy skills.
Just4 Leather was born out of a vision to provide customers with high quality personal leather products at affordable prices. After selling quality value for money leather products for some years we realised that people wanted a product that was different from the average high street/internet shopping experience and were willing to pay more for something unique.
We sell many well known names such as Kenneth Browne, Prime Hide, Ashwood & Rowallan just to name a few.
Combining all these factors Just4Leather has become a significant player in the online retail business selling high quality personal products with Amazon, our online website, ebay and in partnership with D2D Products – D2D being our first ekmPowershop.
Why did you setup your business, and what do you hope to achieve?
Again, we realised that people wanted something different from the norm and were willing to pay a bit more to have a high quality leather product that was unique, of beautiful design but more important was “fit for purpose” and would always be fashionable.
Our goal is to be recognised as a company that provides high quality designer personal leather products that are different, provides excellent customer service and known to continue providing innovative new designer products.
Why did you choose ekmPowershop.com?
Already had a website of sorts and was looking for something with a shopping cart feature – found ekmPowershop. – I was upgrading my PayPal account and came across ekmPowershop – looked at and played with it and have never looked back - I guess it was the ease of use that really appealed to me especially after comparing it to my first website attempt.... could not believe how quick & easy it was to set and shop and be open for “business”.
So happy that I opened a second shop (aka Just4Leather) last year…
How has your experience with ekmPowershop.com been?
Great… my knowledge has grown, with some things slower than others, I have a background in networks – large computer systems – but it not really much use here…I love the ekmCommunity forum loads of advice and help from like minded people
I have contacted ekmPowershop a few times – I tend to use emails as they are better for explaining issues etc – and I have always had a fast response and “courteous” replies (even when the problems have been very trivial, some of my own doing..!!)
How successful has your online shop been?
It has been hard work.. photographing, chasing suppliers more photographing and of course the SEO side of things. We seen a steady growth in sales over the last 6 months so yes it’s been successful but there is still a long way to go.
Hopefully with our new shop design, by Peter of ekmWebDesign, sales will keep increasing
Would you recommend ekmPowershop.com to others?
Yes and already done so…more than once, at least one person I recommended ekmPowershop to is now an ekmPowershop owner…
